Rose Marie Freiermuth

Rose Marie Freiermuth, age 85, of Hastings died April 9, 2011 at Ruth Home in Hastings. She was born February 23, 1926 in Hastings to Joseph and Mary (Welch) Girgen. She attended local schools. She was a homemaker. She married Columbus G. Freiermuth on October 22, 1947 at St. Agatha's Catholic Church in Coates, MN. They enjoyed spending time at their home in Mesa, AZ during winters. Columbus preceded Rose Marie in death on January 15, 2011.She was also preceded in death by her son David, great grandchildren Chris, Hannah and Cody.She is survived by children Marcy (Tom) Sherwood of Hastings, Theresa (Dale) Clemens of Zumbrota, Richard (Lori) Freiermuth of Hastings, Rita (Dell) Smith of Hastings, Diane Freiermuth-Kolmer of Hastings and Dale (Donna) Freiermuth of Hastings; also by 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and a brother Philip Girgen.A Memorial Gathering will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2011 from 9-11 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 Fifteenth Street West, Hastings, with Mass at 11 AM. Interment will follow in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery.
