Rose Carlson

Rose Marie Carlson, age 72, of Hastings, passed away surrounded by her family at Regions Hospital in St. Paul on May 19, 2017. She was born in Hastings to Benjamin and Leona (Majeski) Radke. Rose married Keith 'Buck' Carlson at St. Boniface Catholic Church on September 12, 1970. She loved flowers, traveling, and fishing. Rose was very active in her earlier years. She played a wide variety of sports and enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Benny. She is survived by her husband Keith 'Buck' Carlson; children, Chad (Tanya) Carlson, and Tara Carlson; grandchildren, Doneyja, Ella, Demondre, and Andi; brother, Jack Radke; sister, Mary Ann Radke; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Fr. Bill Murtaugh, will be held on Thursday (5/25) at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. A gathering will take place from 9:30 - 11:00 AM on Thursday at church. Interment will be later at the church cemetery.
