Ronald C. Soehl

Ronald C. Soehl, age 76 of Hastings died November 8, 2013 at his residence, surrounded by his family. Ronald was born October 19, 1937 in Wadena, Minnesota to Henry and Helen (Stapel) Soehl. A 1955 graduate of Henning High School, he served in the U.S. Army for three years and was stationed in Korea. Ronald married Patricia Ann Perlich on September 9, 1962 in St. Paul and worked as an operator at the Koch Refinery for many years prior to his retirement. He was an avid hunter and fisherman that loved the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Patricia Ann and daughter Debra Lynn. Ronald is survived by his daughter Kathleen �Kathy� Soehl of Zumbro Falls; grandsons Daniel Slotto of Hastings and Ryan Slotto of Winter Park, CO; granddaughter Hannah Bahr of Zumbro Falls; brother Wesley Soehl of Woodbury; sister Ardella (Edwin) Griffiths of Woodbury; also five nieces and five nephews. The Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Doug Duin will be held 11 AM Thursday, November 14, at Our Saviour�s Ev. Lutheran Church, 400 West Ninth St., Hastings, with visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Hastings. Pallbearers are Daniel Slotto, Ryan Slotto, Hannah Bahr, Darrel Soehl, Mike Nelson, Paul Graham and Morgan Turner.
