Roger J. Berdahl

Roger J. Berdahl, age 77, of Regina Residence in Hastings, died Friday, December 4, 2009. Roger was born February 2, 1932, at Sioux Falls, SD to Ole and Alma (Carson) Berdahl. He was a graduate of Washington High School and Augustana College in Sioux Falls, and of Luther Seminary in St. Paul. He was a retired Lutheran Pastor who had served Kenwood Lutheran Church in Duluth, MN. After retiring he was employed at Aetna Insurance Company.He married Harriet Larson. She preceded him in death in 1974. He was also preceded by his parents.He is survived by his daughters Kirsten (Keith) Klug of Mesa, AZ and Rebecca (Paul) Plumb of Eagan, MN; also by grandchildren Kristina and Nora; step grandchildren Zachary and Caleb; his former wife Maude Young of Scottsdale, AZ.Private family services will be held. Interment will take place in Minnehaha Lutheran Cemetery near Colton, SD.
