Robert F. Beissel

Robert F. Beissel, age 76 of Hastings died Monday, June 6, 2011 at his home. Robert was born August 18, 1934 in Hastings to Frederick and Gladys (Rowan) Beissel. He was 1952 graduate of Hastings High School and served in the U.S. Army. Robert married Elizabeth Endres February 20, 1960 in Hastings and worked as a supervisor at Hudson Manufacturing prior to his retirement in 2002. He was preceded in death by his parents.Robert is survived by his wife Elizabeth; children Lynn (Kevin) Bendt of Savage, Mary (Bill Spies) Renken of Inver Grove Heights, Steven Beissel of Hastings and Roger (Laura) Beissel of Maple Lake, MN; grandchildren Garrett (Wendi) Renken, Ashley and Shauna Bendt, Kelly and Joshua Beissel. The Memorial Service, officiated by Fr. Allan Paul Eilen will be held 10:30a.m. Thursday, June 9, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 West Fifteenth Street, Hastings, with visitation held after 9:00am at church. Interment with full Military Honors provided by the VFW Lyle Russell Post #1210 will follow in the parish cemetery.
