Robert E. Ambrose, age 62, longtime resident of Hastings died September 30, 2008 at his home. He was born November 16, 1945 in Rice Lake, Wi to Joseph and Lillian (Butcholz) Ambrose. A Hastings High School graduate - class of 1963, he served as a Vietnam War Veteran in the U.S. Navy, and later worked 19 years at the Factory Motor Parts Company. He was preceded in death by his parents. Robert is survived by three siblings, Joseph (Sheila) Ambrose of Inver Grove Heights, Carol (Erwin) Arntson of Webster, WI and Ralph (Susan) Ambrose of Prairie Farm, WI; nephews Robert, Mark, Ben, Sam; and niece Christine.Graveside Services with full military honorswere held atthe Ft. Snelling National Cemetery on Tuesday, October 14, 2008.
