Robert Westerberg, age 92, of Hastings, passed away Sept. 27, 2013. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. He retired from 3M. He loved his family, friends, travel, flying his Luscombe, and cookies.He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Dorothy. He is survived by son, Roger Westerberg (Sandy Rodriguez); daughter, Juliann (Paul) Ashley; grandchildren, Karl Westerberg; Rachel (Rob) Merluza; Lauren (Sal) Rizzo; Allison (Josh) Seel.A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday (10/8) at 3:00 pm at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings. A Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
