Richard William Rose

Richard William Rose, age 15, of Red Wing, formerly Hastings and Surprise, AZ, passed away July 31, 2021. He was born in Hastings on April 15, 2006 to Christopher and Maxine Rose. He loved fishing, being outdoors and playing Xbox with his friends. He was learning how to become a Blacksmith from his Grandpa Carlson. Richard's lifelong dream was to become a mechanic in the Marines. He was preceded in death by grandparents, William Rose and Sandy Wahle Richard is survived by his parents, Christopher "Chris" and Maxine "Maxx" Rose; brothers, Aiden and Eli Rose; sister, Miranda (Keith) Kasten; grandparents, Richard and Irma Carlson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 12 noon at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St. in Hastings. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. For everyone's safety, Richard's family requests those in attendance to please wear a mask.
