Richard S. Law

Richard S. Law, age 59, of Hastings, passed away July 9, 2009 at home after a long illness.Richard was born in St. Paul on August 13, 1949 to James and Geraldine (Stahl) Law. He was united in marriage to Deborah Deiman on September 30, 1978 in St. Paul Park. Richard was a Business Operations Manager at Imations Company. He was an avid fisherman, camper, and outdoorsman.He was preceded in death by his parents.Richard is survived by his wife Debbie of Hastings; sons Christopher Law of San Diego and Jason Law of Hastings; brothers Douglas Law and Gregory Law, both of Newport.The Funeral Service, officiated by Pastor Andrew Krause, will be held at 11 am Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Rivertown Church, 18355 Red Wing Blvd., Hastings, followed by interment at Lakeside Cemetery.The visitation will be from 4-8 pm Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East Seventh St., Hastings, and one hour prior to the service at church. Pallbearers include: Douglas Law, Christopher Law, Jason Law, Dennis Deiman, Donald Deiman, and Thomas Wilson. Honorary pallbearer is Gregory Law.
