Raymond E. Gustin

Raymond Gustin, age 93 passed away on Christmas. Raymond was born on a farm in Central Wisconsin during the Great Depression and at 12 years of age Raymond suffered a hunting accident causing him to have his right leg amputated above-the-knee. This ultimately led to a 40-year career as a Certified Prosthetist in Green Bay, Wisconsin. His son Brian followed him into the profession. Raymond and his wife Margaret moved to Parkridge Assisted Living Hastings Minnesota. in 2009 to be closer to their daughter Laurie Bettis. Raymond is survived by his wife Margaret, daughter Laurie Bettis (Don) of Hastings and son Brian Gustin (Diane) of Green Bay, Wisconsin. He has five Grandchildren (Ashley, Ben, Joahn, Drew, and Natalee) and three Great Grandchildren (Brooks, Brayden, MaKenna). There will be a private family viewing at Starkson Life Celebration Center. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the Alzheimer’s Association. Donations can be made at www.act.alz.org.
