Paul N. Reuter

It is with great sadness that the family of Paul Nicholas Reuter, age 81 of Hastings, MN announces his passing. Paul passed away at United Hospital in St. Paul surrounded by his family on October 6, 2018. Paul Reuter, the son of Nicholas and Anna (Rohr) Reuter, was born on October 22, 1936. Paul was a graduate of Hastings High School. He was a proud member of The United States Navy and served aboard the USS John Hancock Destroyer. Paul was a successful Real Estate Developer and Entrepreneur for over 50 years. Paul was united in marriage to Elizabeth Louise Wagner on July 27, 1956, at St. Johns Catholic Church in Vermillion, MN. Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing and winters at his home in Key Largo, Florida. He had a unique sense of humor all his own and anyone who knew and loved him were entertained by his fun loving personality. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sisters, Lorraine, Genavive, Gerry, Fran, Dorothy, Libby, Mildred, Marion, and Monica. Paul is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Betty; Children, Nick Reuter, Mark (Allison) Reuter, Wendy (Jesus) DeLaTorres and John Reuter. Grandchildren; Dominique, Chelsea, Nicole, Kenzi, Austin, Mason, Aiden, Isaac, Aspen and Great-granddaughter Myla Rose; sister Rita (Larry) McNamara and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
