Patrick D. Giusto

Patrick D. Giusto, age 78 of Hastings died Friday, March 6, 2015 unexpectedly. Patrick was born September 8, 1936 in New York, NY to John and Carmela (Zumbrotta) Giusto. He married Catherine Micheletti on his birthday September 8, 1957 in New York. Patrick loved working on cars and especially enjoyed being around his grandchildren. Patrick is survived by his wife Catherine; three children Deborah (Jeff) Thompson of Spring Valley, WI, Anthony (Karen) Giusto of Farmington and Patrick Giusto Jr. of Hastings; six grandchildren Jeffrey (Kayla), Erik (Marie), Andrea and Stephanie Thompson, Nicolette and Melissa Giusto; two great grandchildren Reyna Craine and Madelyn Thompson; brother John Giusto. Preceded by his parents and brother Thomas. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. David Hennen will be held Wednesday 10:30 AM, March 11, 2015 at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Hastings. Visitation Tuesday 4-8 PM at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home 201 East 7th St. in Hastings and one hour prior to the Mass at church. Interment in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers are Anthony and Nicolette Giusto, Jeffrey Thompson Sr., Jeffrey Thompson Jr., Erik and Andrea Thompson.
