Patricia Ann Hageman

Patricia Ann Hageman, age 77 of Hastings, died peacefully on Friday morning, June 1, 2018, at Regina Senior Living in Hastings, with her family at her side. Patricia Ann, the daughter of Paul Marion and Marjorie (Seleski) Marion, was born in West St. Paul on November 4, 1940. Her mother Marjorie later married Peter M. Gelao and together they raised Patricia from a young age. She grew up in South St. Paul, graduated from South St. Paul High School with the class of 1958, and attended St. Paul Beauty College. Following her graduation, she worked as a hairdresser in Hastings for over 40 years. Pat married Jerome C. Hageman on November 5, 1960, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in South St. Paul. She was a 3rd Order Carmelite, and was instrumental in establishing the 24 hour Adoration Chapel at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Hastings, where she was a devoted member for many years. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, step father, and her husband Jerome in 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Trudeau of Hastings, and son, Thomas Hageman of Hastings; five grandchildren, Meghan Heesch (Alan Gillman), Mallory Kretman (Hank), Michael Heesch, Jaime Hageman and Dylan Hageman; sister, Joanne Sporcic (Steve) of Inver Grove Heights; also by several half brothers and half sisters and many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Hastings, with Father Michael Barsness officiating. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2018, at Caturia, Smidt Starkson Funeral Home Crematory of Hastings, and will continue at church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Arrangements are being completed by Caturia, Smidt Starkson Funeral Home Crematory of Hastings.
