Patricia A. Brand

Patricia A. Brand, age 60, of Hastings, died May 23, 2014 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, MN after a lengthy illness. Patricia was born July 3, 1953 in Hastings to Nicholas and Caroline (Frost) Stoffel. She was a graduate of Hastings High School with the class of 1971. She married Mark A. Brand and he died in 2010. Patricia was a longtime employee at Bahls Motor and Implement in Hastings. She loved to travel the world. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and her husband as well as an infant son Ryan Cole Brand. She is survived by a son Nathan, 2 brothers George (Jane) Stoffel, Lynn (Shirley) Stoffel, nieces and nephew Candee Jenson, Sandy Stoffel and Joseph Stoffel. The Memorial Service, with Gordon Gathright officiating, will be Friday, May 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 SeventhStreet East in Hastings. A gathering will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
