Pamela "Pam" Crosby

Pamela "Pam" Crosby, age 53 of Hastings, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, May 26, 2017, at United Hospital in St. Paul, following a courageous battle with cancer. Pamela Beth, the daughter of Maurice and Marilyn "Pat" Crosby, was born on October 12, 1963, in Hastings. Pam graduated from Hastings High School with the class of 1982, and continued her education at Inver Hills Community College before enlisting in the National Guard. Pam and Joe McNamara were later blessed with their only son, Cory. She later married Lance Kirk and cherished the time they spent together as best friends. Pam worked at various jobs throughout her life, and was entering her 17th year of sobriety. She was a very generous and giving person, and would often times bring a small gift to family and friends. Pams love for the bible was very important to her, especially as her diagnosis with cancer progressed. She was preceded in death by her father, Maurice. Pam is survived by her son, Cory Crosby; her mother, Pat Crosby; her siblings, Patti Faanes, Peggy Maher, Paul "Bing" Crosby (Danele), Pete (Jaci) Crosby, and Meri Weber; her former husband and best friend, Lance Kirk; and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. A Celebration of Pams Life will be held 6 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2017, at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home Cremation Services in Hastings, with Gordon Gathright officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday evening. Arrangements are being completed by Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home Cremation Services of Hastings.
