Norbert H. Krech

Norbert H. Krech, age 80, of Hastings, died June 22, 2009 at the Inver Grove Good Samaritan Center.Norbert was born in Prescott, WI on December 14, 1928 to Henry and Hulda (Bester) Krech. He attended Prescott Schools, and later served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Norbert married Mary �Tootie� (Lorentz) on October 14, 1950. He was employed by 3M Chemolite as a Warehouse Operator prior to his retirement.He was preceded in death by his parents; wife on October 8, 2000; siblings, Myra Haberkorn, Francis Krech, Donald Krech and Alfred Krech.Norbert is survived by his sons, Steve Krech of Hastings, Peter (Cyndy) Krech of Woodbury, and John (Lori) Krech of Prescott; 2 grandchildren, Jason and Taylor Krech; siblings, Leona Trog of S. St. Paul, Sylvia �Sis� Ancell of Farmington, and Kenneth (Carol) of Prescott. The Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 25, 2009 at OUR SAVIOUR�S EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 400 West Ninth Street, Hastings, with a visitation from 9-11AM, Thursday at church. Pallbearers include: Steve Krech, Pete Krech, Jason Krech, David Krech, Tom Krech, and Jim Trog. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery, Hastings with Military Honors provided by the Hastings V.F.W. Lyle Russell Post #1210.
