Neva Andree Percy

Neva Andree Percy, age 84, of Hastings, passed away January 9, 2010 at the Sunrise Cottages of Buffalo. She was born December 27, 1925 to Emil and Ethel (Greer) Starz in Zumbro Falls, MN. She married Harold Percy in Zumbro Falls on June 25, 1948. Neva was a teacher at Pine Crest Elementary School in Hastings, retiring in 1984. She enjoyed playing the organ, doing her puzzle books, and her time spent at the Senior Center; but most of all, loved her kids and grandkids. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Alton Percy. Neva is survived by her sons, Michael (Shelly) of Cottage Grove; and Dennis (Becky) of Maple Grove; grandchildren, William; Sara; Michelle; Alys (Todd); Emily; Kyle; and Caitlin; great grandson, Nathan; sister, Lova Anderson of Lakeville; other relatives and friends. Memorial Service, Tuesday (1/12), 11:00 am, at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings. Gathering one hour prior to service. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
