Michael J. Mccarthy

Michael J. McCarthy, age 43 of Hastings, died Friday morning, August 25, 2017, at Bethesda Hospital in St. Paul. Michael Jason, the son of Michael and Debra (Riemer) McCarthy, was born on June 3, 1974, in Hastings. Mike was a construction worker for various companies over the years. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael McCarthy; his sister, Nicky McCarthy, and by his grandparents, Tom Marge Riemer. Michael is survived by his mother, Debbie (Willie) Eckert; his sisters, Casey (Wes) King, and Allie (Mike) Miller; his nephews, Mason and Maxwell; and by many other relatives and friends. A private family service will be held. Arrangements are being completed by Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home Cremation Services of Hastings.
