Mary Lou Feilmeier

Mary Lou (Stroh) Feilmeier, 75, a longtime resident of Minnesota, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2012 at “Betty’s Home” after a lengthy battle against Alzheimer’s. She was born in Casper, WY to Roy and Gertrude Stroh. On November 30, 1957 Mary Lou married Leonard Feilmeier of Hartington, NE. Her husband, Leonard; her two daughters, Deb Fjetland (Robert) of Welch, MN; Mary Len Mathiowetz (Mark) and only grandchild, Britta Mathiowetz of Ft. Collins, CO survive her. She is preceded in death by her son Scott Anthony Feilmeier, parents Roy and Gertrude Stroh, sister Charlene Blanscet and brothers Tom Stroh and Mike Stroh.The family would like to thank Laus Comfort Care “Betty’s Home” in Cottage Grove, MN for their many years of providing love and support to Mary Lou. We would like to thank the staff at Betty’s house whose kind care allowed Mary Lou to keep her dignity throughout her final years. A memorial service will be held at Wise Funeral Home in Hastings, MN on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 11am with visitation one-hour prior. A celebration of her life will take place immediately following. Burial will take place at Memorial Gardens of Casper, WY at a later date. The family will make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in her memory.
