Mary L. Crandall

Mary L. Crandall, age 79, of Bovey died Saturday, October 31, 2009 in Grand Rapids. Mary was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on March 26, 1930 to Cleveland and Grace (Topliff) Hemphill. She was united in marriageto Robert �Bud� Crandall on June 8, 1948. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Leslie and Dale; and great-grandson, Ethan Schmitt. She is survived by her husband, Robert �Bud�; sons, Jack (Linda) Crandall of Spring Valley, WI, Thomas (Marcia) Crandall of Hastings and Donald (Nancy) Crandall of New Trier;6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Mattie Williams of Cedar Rapids, IA. The Funeral Service, officiated byChaplain Dan Christ will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East Seventh Street, Hastings, followed by interment at Lakeside cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 P.M. Tuesday, November 3, 2009 and also one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
