Mary Ellen Campbell

Mary Ellen (Duer) Campbell, age 94, of Hastings, MN, passed away on December 21, 2020. Mary was born in Menominee, MI on November 25, 1926 to Dr. Guy and Ruth Duer. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Duer Campbell; her parents, and six siblings. Mary is survived by daughter-in-law, Karen Campbell, children, Peggy (Walter) Manning and Maryann Campbell; grandchildren, Heather Campbell (Justin Thomas), Ginger Campbell and Sara Manning; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Dorham, Addison Dorham, Jovie Thomas and Lucy Thomas; sister, Peg (Chuck) Tebo, many nieces and nephews and family friend, Barb Braun. Mary spent her retirement years volunteering at Regina Hospital in many areas along with knitting hundreds of baby hats for newborns. She also enjoyed her family, the outdoors, gardening, cooking, reading, writing poetry, sewing and knitting. A private memorial will be held in the Spring.
