Mary E. (Kingston) Enney

Mary Kingston Enney, age 85, of Woodbury, formerly of Hastings died November 16, 2010 at her home. Mary was born April 24, 1925 in St. Paul to Byron and Marie (McCarty) Kingston. She was a 1943 graduate of Hastings High School and married George Enney on August 23, 1952 at Guardian Angels Church in Hastings. She was a former employee of 3-M, Midway Hospital in St. Paul, Humbert Dental and Hendrickson Eye Clinic in Hastings, and retired at age 65. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband George in 1998; and brothers Thomas and Kenneth Kingston. She is survived by her daughters Marcia (Ed) Opatz of Holdingford, MN and Michelle (Joe) Reed of Woodbury; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson; brother John (Bea) Kingston of Hastings. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Stan Maslowski will be held 11am Friday, November 19, 2010 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 8260 Fourth St. No., Oakdale, MN. The visitation will be held from 4-8pm Thursday, November 18, 2010at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E. Seventh St., Hastings and 1 hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be 3:00pm Friday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery, Hastings. The pallbearers are Kenneth Kingston, Terrence Kingston, Colin Reed, Brendan Reed, Brianna Theis, Nicholas Theis. Memorials are preferred.
