Mary Ann Schumann

Mary Ann Schumann, age 88, of Hastings died Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Regina Transitional Care in Hastings.Mary Ann Eggleston was born July 7, 1928 in Worthington, MN to Glen R. and Mary (Vestrum) Eggleston. She grew up there and was a graduate of Worthington High School. She was married to Donald L. Schumann in 1945 in Concrete, WA. Mary Ann worked a variety of jobs in her life, including owning and operating a restaurant.Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1993, her son, Larry Allen Schumann and by 7 siblings. She is survived by her children David (Barbara) Schumann, Vickie Schumann and Lynda Noble; by her 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.A Memorial Masswill be held 9:30 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2017 at Regina Chapel, 1175 Nininger Road in Hastings, MN. Interment will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017 in Worthington Cemetery, Worthington, MN.Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
