Marleen V. Lysdahl

Marleen V. Lysdahl, age 77 of Hastings, died peacefully on Thursday evening, January 31, 2019, at Our Lady of Peace in St. Paul. Marleen Veronica, the daughter of Frank and Dorothy (Zeien) Meier, was born on October 31, 1941, in Hastings. Marleen graduated from Hastings High School with the class of 1959, and enjoyed going garage saling to find the best deal, listening and composing music, and loved her dogs and cats. Marleen also enjoyed spending time traveling and attending car shows with her significant other, Glen Wick, as they enjoyed membership in the Minnesota Street Rod Association. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tina; and by her siblings, Jean and Richard. Marleen is survived by her children, Robert (Lisa) Rowan, Elvis (Cassy Bushinger) Rowan, Justin (Angie) Rowan, and Sandy Rowan; twin sister, Kathleen Denn; siblings, Jerry and Judy; significant other, Glen Wick; and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2019, at the Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel Caturia-Smidt Chapel in Hastings. Family and friends are cordially invited to a visitation for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday morning. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
