Mark T. Rebischke

Mark Rebischke, age 54, of Inver Grove Heights, MN passed away at home surrounded by his wife and family on February 20, 2022 after a lifetime battle with Crohn’s disease and recently cancer. Mark was born in Watertown, SD & was the son of Dennis and Irene Rebischke. He grew up in Canton, South Dakota. When he was 16 years old, Mark moved with his family to Palmer Alaska. He graduated from Palmer High School in 1986 and soon thereafter moved to MN, where he met Kris Kropp. Mark & Kris were married on February 19, 1994. A year later, they started a family by welcoming daughter, Kayla, in 1995 and son, Benjamin, in 1999. Preceded in death by his father Dennis J. Rebischke, grandparents Wilfred & Lucille Rebischke, Heinrich Bindewald, Jakob & Frieda Anthes; father-in-law Rod Rankin and sister-in-law Laura Kropp. Survived by his loving wife Kris; daughter, Kayla; son, Ben; mom, Irene; brother, Mike (Carrie) Rebischke; sisters, Sharon (Tim) Vang, Sandra Haugo, & Brenda (Mike) Mohrhauser; 11 nieces and nephews: Jessica (goddaughter), Tyler, Joshua, Jamie, Clay, Thomas, Samantha, Kasey, James, Roni & Eddie; mother-in-law Nancy Rankin; brothers-in-law Ross & Ron Kropp, as well as many other family & friends. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 @ 2:00pm at Faith United Methodist Church, 1530 Oakdale Ave., West St Paul, MN 55118. Visitation from 1-2pm and following the service.
