Marjorie Truax

Marjorie (Marge) E. Truax, 77, Laramie, WY. Died December 9, 2013, in Denver, CO, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Marge was born on October 14, 1936, in Prescott, WI, to Earl Leseman and Thelma (Leseman) Todd. Marge graduated as salutatorian of her class at Prescott High School. She worked at 3M after graduation. She married Sheldon K. Truax on July 10, 1959. They lived in the Minneapolis area until 1969 when they moved to Laramie, WY, where Sheldon was the hospital administrator at Ivinson Memorial Hospital. Marge was a real estate agent, and owned and managed her real estate holdings until her death. Marge is survived by son, Mark (Cheryl) of Longmont, CO; daughters, Susan of Denver, CO; and Julie (Jim Dunn) of Eaton, CO; grandchildren, Lisa; Sarah; Reilly; and Peyton; great-grandsons, Loki and Blake; cousins, Joan (Greg) Saiko of St. Paul, MN; and Charles (Joyce) Sundby and Bob Sundby of Prescott, WI.; brother-in-law, Frank (Judy) Truax of Hastings, MN; and sisters-in-law, Mary Lou (Richard) Fendrick of Stoughton, WI; Charlotte Truax of Hastings, MN; Leota Truax of Hastings, MN; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other friends. Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Sheldon; and brothers-in-law, Richard; Keith; Caleb; Kenneth; and David Truax; and sisters-in-law, Betty; Ann; and Joan Truax. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 21, 2013, at the United Church of Christ in Prescott, WI. Visitation 10:00 a.m., service 11:00 a.m., and lunch to follow.
