Marie A. Lorenz

Marie Ann Lorenz, age 99 of Miesville died Monday, January 6, 2014 at United Hospital in St. Paul. Marie, a woman of great faith was born August 25, 1914 in Eden Valley, MN to Oscar and Ida (Kummet) Lorenz. She had worked as a parish housekeeper since 1941, and had served the St. Joseph parish in Miesville since 1991, taking care of the priest residence for both Fr. Lawrence Ryan and Fr. Mike O�Connor. She was preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers and sisters.�Marie is survived by her sister Lorraine Habberstad , brother Robert (Ruth) Lorenz, also many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. The funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Fernando Ortega will be held 11 AM Thursday, January 9, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Miesville. Visitation will be held at church one hour prior to the service. �Interment will be held 11 AM Friday, January 10 at Assumption Cemetery in Eden Valley, MN.�
