Margarite Ann Youngren

Margarite (Marge) Youngren, age 82, of Hastings, passed away peacefully with her family surrounding her on June 15, 2016. Marge was born on January 1, 1934 in Cranston, Rhode Island to Pasco Renzi and Maria (Costantini) Renzi. She graduated from Cranston High School in1952 and was united in marriage to Don Youngren of Beldenville, Wisconsin on September 5, 1955. After raising 5 children she went to work for Smead Manufacturing and retired in 1990. She was then able to spend all of her free time doing what she loved most: playing with her grandchildren, baking and sharing treats, dancing, watching the MN Twins, playing cards, reading, and going for walks with her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Youngren; parents, Pasco and Maria (Costantini) Renzi; brothers, Peter and Benny; and sister, Norma Picerno. She is survived by her children, Martin (Marie) Youngren, David (Valerie) Youngren, Terry (Lisa) Youngren, Darren (Cheryl) Youngren, and Mary (Paul) King; 10 precious grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. A celebration of Marge’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 21 at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 2035 15th St. W., Hastings, MN. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 20 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM, at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings, MN and one hour prior to the celebration mass on Tuesday at church.
