Marcia A. Daniel

Marcia Ann Daniel, age 70, of Hastings, passed away at Augustana Care Center on October 19, 2014. She was born in Blooming Prairie, MN on April 21, 1944 to Donald and Agnes (Lysne) Miller. She married Royce Daniel in Blooming Prairie on January 29, 1965. Marcia enjoyed gardening and bird watching. She was an active member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. She loved volunteering there, especially her time at the adoration chapel. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. There was nothing more important to her than her grandchildren. Marcia is preceded in death by her husband, Royce; grandson, Cal; parents, Donald and Agnes Miller; sister, Mary Jean; brother, Donald Jr.; god daughter, Jeanna; nephew, Gary; and many other relatives. She is survived by her children, Gregory (Seeta) Daniel; Rochelle (Tim) Leahy; Stephen (Emily) Daniel; and Paul Daniel (Chelsea Countryman); grandchildren, Gabrielle; Lucas; Megan; Cassidy; Josalyn; Madison; Greg Jr.; Wyatt; Amiyah; and Christian; brother, Richard (Millie) Miller; and many other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday (10/24) at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. A gathering will be held one hour prior to mass.
