Maralee G. Louis

Maralee G. Louis, age 84, of Vermillion, died Sunday, 7/13/08 atUnited Hospital in St. Paul. Maralee was born October 30, 1923 in Lakeville to Lawrence and Mildred (Austinson) Miller. She was a 1941graduate of Lakeville High School and went on to attend business school. She worked briefly at First State Bank of Rosemount, where she met her future husband. She married Francis P. "Dick" Louis on April 6, 1948 in Rosemount.Maralee was preceded in death by her parents; husband Francis "Dick", sons Greg and Edward. She is survived by her 5 children, Larry Louis of Vermillion, Gene (DebbyLynn) Louis of Vermillion, Marcia (Tom) Crandall of Hastings, Sharon (Ches) Ellingson of Rosemount, and Ann (Lee) Campbell of Hastings; daughters-in-law Theresa Louis of Rosemountand Debra Louis of Hastings; also 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother Lawrence Miller of Elko New Market; andsister Noreene (Lawrence) Rosberg of Fargo, North Dakota.The Funeral Service for Maralee will be held at 11am Wednesday, July 16that the CATURIA-SMIDT FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. 7th St. in Hastings with a visitation from 5-8pm Tuesday and 1 hour prior to the service. The interment will be held in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
