Linda (Mclean) Duren

Linda (McLean) Duren, age 66 of Hastings, died peacefully on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at her home. Linda Carol, the daughter of John and Gloria (Hansen) McLean, was born on August 14, 1949 in Elgin, Illinois. Following her graduation from White Bear Lake High School with the class of 1967, Linda was united in marriage to Raymond Lenhart and was blessed with two children, Michael and Sara. She later married Thomas Duren and he preceded her in death on October 7, 2010. Linda was a well-known and award winning hairstylist throughout her life. She loved having a glass of wine, shopping, the Renaissance Festival, dancing, and being surrounded by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother; and by her husbands, Ray and Tom. Linda is celebrated by her children, Michael (Annie) Lenhart and Sara (Clay) Haglund; her five grandchildren and two great grandchildren; her father, John McLean; her siblings, John (Deanne) McLean and Jeff (Margaret) McLean; her step children, Wayne (Jane) Duren and Kurt Duren; and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016 at St. John in The Wilderness Episcopal Church, 2175 First Street, White Bear Lake, with The Reverend Mark W. Kelm officiating. A reception will follow the service at church. Private family interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.Arrangements are being completed by Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home Cremation Services in Hastings.
