Linda L. Hartung

Linda L. Hartung, age 67 of Grasston, MN, died peacefully on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Prescott Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. Linda Lou, the daughter of John and Louella (Grant) Schimpf, was born on April 19, 1949 in St. Paul. After graduating from Park High School in Cottage Grove, she was united in marriage to Thomas Hartung. Linda owned and operated Lindas T-N-T Bar for eleven years. She loved showing horses, traveling, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her dad, John. Linda is survived by her husband, Tom of Grasston; her daughter, Dawn (significant other, Jerry Erickson) Hartung of Prescott; her grandchildren, Jacob Hartung and Rocky Blomker; her great grandchild, Zane Hartung; her mother, Louella Schimpf; her sister, Brenda (Eric) Lofquist; and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Cottage Grove United Church of Christ, 7008 Lamar Avenue South, Cottage Grove, with Reverend Bryan Olson officiating. Interment will be held at Cottage Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at church. Arrangements are being completed by Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home Cremation Services in Hastings.
