Lillian C. Squire

Lillian C. Squire, age 75 of Hastings died June 3, 2011 at United Hospital in St. Paul after a four year battle with breast cancer. Lillian was born October 2, 1935 to Henry and Emma (Kessler) Murschel in Zap, North Dakota. She married William B. Squire November 5, 1954 in Moorhead, MN and enjoyed being a homemaker. She was a member of Our Saviour�s Ev. Lutheran Church andwas on theirprayer chain. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Alda Murschel, Arthur Murschel,Mona Ziegler, Edna Nelson; and Jim Murschel. She is survived by her husband William; mother of 2 children, William B. Squire Jr. and Elizabeth A. Squire (husband Duncan Herring); siblings Raymond Reiner,Agnes Meske, Edmer (Angie) Murschel, Virginia Ell, Ivan (Helen) Murschel, Lester Murschel, and George (Mary Ann) Murschel. The visitation will be held from 5-7pm Tuesday, at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home 1 hour prior to service at the church. AFuneral Service, officiated by Rev. Doug Duin will be held 11am Wednesday at Our Saviour�s Ev. Lutheran Church,400 WestNinth St., Hastings. A family interment will be held at Lakeside Cemetery.
