Lee Roy Eugene Chandler

Lee Roy E. Chandler, age 63 of River Falls, WI, died Saturday, October 22, 2016 in Saint Paul at United Hospital. Lee Roy Eugene, the son of LeRoy and Rita (Rogers) Chandler, was born on October 18, 1953 in Red Wing, MN. Lee Roy was a 1971 graduate of Hastings High School. He went on to be self-employed doing construction of which he loved. Later in life he took a position as a medical tech. at the Cochran House. Lee Roy married Gloria Crosby on December 21, 1999 in Watertown, South Dakota. He loved hunting, trapping, fishing and hosting many hunting parties. Lee Roy also loved bird watching, spending time with his kids and grandkids. He was in many pool leagues, played soft ball and spent a little time at "The Island". His smile will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Judy Blanck and Mary Hakseth. Lee Roy is survived by his wife Gloria, children Lee Michael Chandler of Burnsville, Rachael (Jeff) Chandler-Head of Canal Fulton, OH, Julia (Chris) OHalloran of Prescott and Mark (Kara) Rogers of Cottage Grove; three granddaughters, six grandsons; siblings Sandy Hei, Brenda (Tony) Tchida, Linda (Joe) Werner, Nancy (Jay), Ray and Bob Chandler and Patti Murray; many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held 7:00 pm Friday, October 28, 2016 at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home Cremation Services, 201 East 7th Street Hastings with a visitation from 4:00 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
