Kurt J. Hoffman

Kurt J. Hoffman, age 38, of Hastings, passed away September 24, 2010 after a long illness. Kurt was a good father who dearly loved his 7 year old son, Dylan and his many nieces and nephews. He had a big heart for kids and loved his dog, Sasha. He was a Radio Control Car Racing enthusiast and treasured the outdoors, especially hunting, snowmobiling and 4- wheeling.Kurt is preceded in death by his grandparents, Luverne and Adam Yozamp; and Cecil and Thelma Hoffman. He is survived by his son, Dylan; parents, Jim and Faye Hoffman; brothers, Adam (Sara) Hoffman; and Clinton (Emily) Hoffman; grandmother, Odelia Hoffman; fiance, Julie Phenicie; nieces, nephews, and friends. A Funeral Service, officiated by Fr. Jim Perkl, will be held Friday, Oct. 1, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 30, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings and one hour prior to the service at church.
