Kevon Richard Kelleher

Kevon Richard Kelleher, age 28, of Hastings MN, passed away unexpectedly July 23, 2018. He was a donor and saved the lives of three people. Kevon was born in Redwood Falls on May 22, 1990, to Kerri Melquist and Richard Kelleher Jr. He was reunited with his sister whom he has missed dearly for sixteen years. Kevon was a leader. He was sentimental, athletic, headstrong and funny. A very thoughtful & loving man whose heart was always in the right place. He enjoyed holidays, music, spending time at home, being with family & friends, fishing, cribbage and playing cards. Clothes, shoes, jewelry, hats, and tattoos were his passion. Kevon was always the best dressed and his hair and eyebrows were always on point. He was great at telling the stories of his life. What he loved most were his boys who will continue his legacy. His handsome face and beautiful smile will be sadly missed by all. Kevon was preceded in death by grandparents, Daniel Melquist Sr. & Arlene Streightiff; and sister, Kellie Jo Melquist aka Coo~Coo Girl. He is survived by parents, Kerri Melquist & Richard Kelleher Jr.; grandparents, JoAnne Melquist & Richard Kelleher Sr.; sisters, Geraldine Baker, Crystal Kelleher, and Mya Kelleher; brother, Derek Kelleher; auntie & uncle/Godparents, Kelli & Dave DuB uncles, Danny Melquist, and Eugene, Tim, and Nate Kelleher; auntie, Sherry Martinez; 1 niece, 3 nephews, and many cousins, family and friends. Kevon is also survived by the mother's of his children, Jessica Larson, Lindsey Johnson, Angela Wittenberg, and his boys, Kaidon, Kollin and Liam Kelleher. Love, Mommy' A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday (8/2) from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Wise Family Funeral & Cremation Services, 400 Spring St., Hastings with a service at 7:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Paris Pasch. Memorials preferred.
