July 10, 1934 — December 7, 2021

Kenneth K. "Ken" Klink, age 84 of Hastings, died peacefully on Tuesday afternoon, December 7, 2021, at Prescott Nursing and Rehab. Kenneth Keith, the son of Frederick and Sylvyra (Bakke) Klink, was born on July 10, 1934, in St. Paul. Following his graduation from Harding High School, Ken enlisted in the United States Army and served four years prior to being Honorably Discharged. Throughout his life, Ken enjoyed collecting historical artifacts, clocks, lamps, Fenton glass, and trains, and working with stained glass. He began working as a young man at the Science Museum, and later was the Director of Spring Lake Historical Society and Science Museum. Ken had a passion for horses and owned many over the years. In more recent years, he also worked at an antique store in downtown Hastings. Since Ken was never married, his animals were always very important to him, especially his horses and dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents; and by his sister, Alice Manthey. Ken is survived by his sister, Corinne (Marvin) Wasserman; niece, Sandra (Joe) Krafchak; and by a nephew, Michael Wasserman. Private family graveside services will be held at Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
