Kanaysha M. Pachan

Kanaysha M. Pachan, age 22 of Hastings, died suddenly but peacefully on Wednesday morning, July 18, 2018, at her home. Kanaysha Mari, the daughter of Amy Marie (Pachan) Luckett, was born on June 18, 1996, in St. Paul, Minnesota, and graduated from Hastings High School with the class of 2014. Kanaysha was a longtime employee at Cub Foods, and was looking forward to starting her new career at Treasure Island. She enjoyed reading Harry Potter and Twilight, and especially loved listening to music and attending concerts. Kanaysha was a "YouTuber" where she would upload concert videos and ways to apply makeup and style hair. Even with her allergies, Kanaysha loved all animals, especially dogs and horses. She will forever be missed by her family and friends that she loved so dearly. She was preceded in death by her grandma, Bonnie Swedal. Kanaysha is survived by her mom, Amy Luckett; siblings, Nakeshia (Baby Zoltan) Pachan, Treyvarious Jones, and Worldroyal Luckett; father, Frank Jones; grandparents, Steve (Mari) Pachan; great grandma, Dorothy Pachan; aunts, Christina (Ruben) Bailey, Jerri Pachan, and Keshia Pachan; many half siblings; and by many cousins, other relatives, and friends. A Celebration of Kanayshas Life is being planned, and will be announced later. Arrangements are being completed by Caturia, Smidt Starkson Funeral Home Crematory of Hastings.
