June M. Felber

June M. Felber, age 81 of Hastings, died suddenly but peacefully at Hastings Senior Health & Living on Wednesday morning, December 1, 2021. June Mary, the daughter of Charles and Marilyn (Saas) Whelan, was born on May 31, 1940, in Caledonia, Minnesota. June was united in marriage to James Felber and he later preceded her in death. She was a longtime employee at Regina Senior Living, first as a Nurse's Aide and later in Laundry. June enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels in her yard, watching old time and mystery movies, especially "Murder She Wrote", and caring for her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; husband, Jim; and by her mother and father-in-law. June is survived by her sons, Wade Felber and Brett Felber; daughter-in-law, Julie White; grandchildren, Steven, Bryan, Aaron, Anna, Jeffrey, Elena, and Jessi; great grandchildren, Imanol, Catherine, Thomas, and Jr.; sisters, Lynn (Kevin) Hoeschen, Neomi and Mike Schmidt, and Terri (Gary) Schmidt; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other relatives and friends. A Celebration of June's Life will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2021, at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings, with Gordon Gathright officiating. Family and friends are cordially invited to a visitation for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in memory of June. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
