Judy M. Pinnt

Judy Mae (Quernemoen) Pinnt, age 59, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on June 11th, 2019. After a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer the good Lord graciously took her home to join with His angels. She was born on June 3, 1960 to Ray and Alice (Anderson) Quernemoen in Alexandria, MN. She graduated from Alexandria Senior High School in 1978. She married Steven Pinnt on August 9th, 1980 in Alexandria. She worked at Regina Hospital where she displayed her outstanding ability to get along with everyone. Her time there was cut short when she was diagnosed with cancer. Judy truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with neighbors, friends and family, watching her favorite shows, watching her flowers grow, feeding the birds and spending time with her grandson, nephews and nieces. Judy had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She was preceded in death by her mother’s parents John and Walda Anderson, her father Ray and his parents Mabel and Martin Quernemoen, and brother Alan. She is survived by her mother Alice, brother Loren (and Debbie) Quernemoen, and sisters Shirley (and Mark Larson), Sharon Quernemoen, and Bonnie (and Roger Larson); her husband Steve, children Matthew, Katie, Alan and grandson Collin; along with many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. Family, friends, and others whose lives Judy touched are invited to attend a memorial service which will be held on Saturday, June 22nd at Our Saviour’s Evangelical Lutheran church, 400 West 9th Street, Hastings, MN. Visitation begins at 10:00 A.M., service will commence at 11:00 AM followed by lunch. Interment will be at Sumpter Cemetery in North Freedom, WI, at a later date. In lieu of gifts the family requests that those wishing to make a donation to please make a donation to their favorite charity.
