Joseph G Werner

Joseph "Joe" Werner, age 63, of Hastings, passed away peacefully in his home November 2, 2019 after a short battle of cancer. Joe loved watching sports on TV, especially golf. He spent all his spare time in the kitchen, cooking or planning an amazing meal. Joe was a carpenter for over 40 years and spent the last 12+ years working as a carpenter at Treasure Island. He was forced to give up the career he loved due to his health. Joe was always there to help his family and friends and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine; siblings, Larry Werner and Judy Werner; Joe is survived by his wife Linda of 43 years; children, Doug Werner; Crystal (Brian) Heitman; Chad (Tina) Werner; grandchildren, Madi Cook; Cannon Werner; Payton Anderson; Lucy Heitman; father, Lawrence; many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Eagles Club, 1220 Vermillion Street in Hastings.
