Jon D. Carlberg

Jon D. Carlberg, age 55, of Hastings, passed away November 13, 2020. Jon was born in Hastings on January 8, 1965. He was an avid gamer, history buff, Minnesota sports enthusiast, and 80's music lover who honorably placed cemetery flags every year. He was a kind, gentle man who was proudest of his family. Jon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gus and Helen Heinold; and cousins, Mike and Allison Hanek. He is survived by his daughters, Lindsey Carlberg and Samantha (Tyler) Hilsgen; grandchildren, Leland Carlberg and Levi and Alaina Hilsgen; parents, Joyce (Marshall) Johnson, and Bucky (Kathy) Carlberg; siblings, Jeanice (Jim) Meier and Marshall Jr. (Janeen) Johnson; 7 nephews, other relatives and many friends. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, November 18th from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St., Hastings.
