John N. Boston

John Nicholas Boston, 63, of Hastings, passed away on July 20th, 2021. John was born in St. Paul, MN to Theodore and Frances Boston and was the youngest of their four sons. John met and married his true love, Laurie (Fuchs) through mutual friends. Together they raised two sons as he lived a life that brought joy to others through serving his community in a variety of ways. John loved watching sports, answering trivia questions, listening to music – particularly The Top 40 and the Beatles, Rocky Horror, and being a loving husband, father, and grandfather. John’s friendly and outgoing personality will be sorely missed by many who loved him dearly. John is survived by his wife of 36 years, Laurie; sons, Andrew (Rebecca Caneff) and Daniel (Lacey); grandchildren, Kiana, Kyle Vargas, Atreyu, Lincoln, Wilder, and Vincent; his brothers, Jeff, Scott, and Chris; and innumerable family and friends. There will be a memorial service held on Monday, July 26th at 6:00 PM at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St. in Hastings, Minnesota . A visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home. A reception will follow the service. John will be cremated, and interment will occur at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery at a later date. Memorials preferred.
