John M Hennessy

John M. Hennessy, age 68, of Hastings, passed away June 1, 2015 at Regina Hospital in Hastings. He was born on August 2, 1946 to Al & Martha Hennessy in Gary, Indiana. He married Janice Johnson on August 2, 2003 at their home in Hastings. John loved golf and was an avid turkey and pheasant hunter. He received his master’s degree in business. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sue Orth. John is survived by his wife, Janice; children, Leesa (Jonah) Johnson; Michael (Nicole) Kukuska; Michelle (Thom) Brown; Janelle Vazquez; Jessica (Sokhom) Klann; grandchildren, Larissa & Wyatt Johnson; Elena, Gabriel & Cullen Kukuska; Chloe & Trinity Brown; Jorrin Vazquez & Jadia Vorwald; Gabrielle, Mattias & Mason Klann; sisters, Martha (Bill) Klimisch & Bridget Schroeder; other relatives & friends. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday (6/6) from 11:00a.m.-4:00 p.m. at the family’s home, 1341 4th St. W., Hastings.
