John "Jake" Reinhardt

John “Jake” Reinhardt, age 37 of Hampton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, February 1, 2022, following a workplace accident. John Jacob Reinhardt, the son of Lance and Colleen (Amy) Reinhardt, was born on January 5, 1985, in Hastings. Jake grew up in Hastings and enjoyed playing sports, especially baseball, hockey, and football. Following his graduation from Hastings High School in 2003, he worked for Performance Pool and Spa of Oakdale and was most recently employed at Sustane Natural Fertilizer in Cannon Falls. Jake was a loving uncle who never missed an opportunity to shower his nieces with thoughtful gifts. Jake enjoyed taking trips up North, singing karaoke, spending time with family and friends, and was an avid sports fan throughout his life. He will forever be remembered for having a heart of gold and a stellar singing voice. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Floyd and Genevieve Reinhardt; maternal grandfather, Paul Amy; and by his dad, Lance Reinhardt. Jake is survived by his mom, Colleen (Rick) Reinhardt-Harrington; sister, Rachel (Eric) Stoneberg; nieces, Lucy and Olivia Stoneberg; grandmother, Katey Keup; special friend, Taeya Thompson and her son Kingston; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Jake's Life will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
