Joanne M. Reinardy

Joanne M. Reinardy, age 74 of Hastings died Monday, November 10, 2014 at the Regina Transitional Care Unit, following an extended illness. Joanne was born November 15, 1939 in Hastings to Alphonse and Matilda (Werner) Rotty. A 1958 graduate of Hastings High School, she married Leo Reinardy on September 4, 1961 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Hastings. Joanne was formerly employed with Dakota County Abstract and was known for her wonderful cakes and custom dresses. She was preceded in death by her parents. Joanne is survived by her husband Leo; children David (Nancy) Reinardy of Hastings, Karen (Tony) Cox of Omaha, NE, Julie (Mary Rode) Reinardy of Hastings and Mark Reinardy of Hastings; four grandchildren Jeanna (Josh) Danielson, Jessica (James) Treadway, Kristen Wisdorf and Josh (fianc Mollie Fritz) Wisdorf; three great grandchildren Alexandra and Charlotte Danielson and Titus Wisdorf; brother Robert (Kathy) Rotty of Hastings; also many other relatives and friends. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Leonard Siebenaler and Fr. Martin Siebenaler will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, November 13 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Miesville. Interment will be held at St. Marys Cemetery, New Trier. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Wednesday at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East Seventh Street, Hastings and one hour prior to mass at church. Pallbearers are Jeanna Danielson, Josh Danielson, Jessica Treadway, James Treadway, Kristen Wisdorf and Josh Wisdorf.
