Joan B. Lundberg

Joan B. Lundberg, age 88 of Hastings, died peacefully at home on Saturday evening, April 10, 2021. Joan Betsy, the daughter of Andrew and Lena (Christensen) Johnson, was born on the family farm on March 17, 1933, in Arco, Minnesota. Following her education, Joan was united in marriage to Alfred "Curly" Lundberg, and they were blessed with sixty-nine years of marriage and many wonderful memories prior to his recent passing on April 12, 2020. After moving to Hastings, Joan worked at both Smead Mfg. and Intek Plastics. She and Curly loved to travel, especially in their motorhome, as well as going antiquing together. Joan enjoyed fishing, gardening, planting flowers, and time spent with her pets over the years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Curly; siblings, Harley, Majel, and Geneva. Joan is survived by her sons, Randy (Peggy) Lundberg and Mike (Melissa) Lundberg; grandchildren, David Lundberg, Jeanna Clarke, and Eric Loesch; great grandchildren, Wyatt, Charolette, and Dylan; and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Private family memorial services will be held at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings, with Gordon Gathright officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings.
