Jan Altenburg

Jan E. Altenburg, age 57, of Cannon Falls, passed away on December 27, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. She was born on March 26, 1959 to Dale & Betty Agre in Montevideo, Minnesota. She spent 12 years working at ConAgra and another 10 years working at Waste Management. Jan loved animals and fishing. She was proudly crowned the Queen of Flying D Saddle Club of Lakeville in her younger years. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Dale Agre, Jr. & Brian Agre. She is survived by her longtime companion of 20 years, Pat McGuire; children, Lisa (Stephen) Hartmann & James Flagg; grandchildren, Garrett; Parker & Charlotte; and her pets, Buddy & Toad. A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Gordon Gathright, will be held Thurs (1/5) at 7:00 p.m. at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St, Hastings.
