James F. Tanner

James Francis Tanner, age 76 of Hastings died September 29, 2014 at his residence. James was born October 23, 1937 to Donald Francis and Vanessa Vera (Price) Tanner. After his first year in college, he served in the US Army from 1956 1958 and then returned to complete a Masters Degree in Art Education. He had worked for Dakota County as a technical surveyor for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents. James is survived by daughter Elizabeth Tanner and granddaughter Isadore, both of Hastings and daughter Katherine Tanner of Sarasota, FL; two brothers David (Molly) Tanner and Richard Tanner; former wife Kathleen Tanner; other relatives and friends. A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
