Jacqueline Kay Bordeau (Perry)Age 45Of Burnsville, MN Was called home to Eternal Glory to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 1, 2008. Jacqueline was born on April 2, 1963 at Evangelical Hospital in Marshalltown, Iowa. She grew up on North 7th St. in Marshalltown, Iowa. During her childhood and adulthood she was a very generous, energetic, beautiful, and creative Baptized Child of God. She received Holy Baptism on Nov. 28, 1965 and was Confirmed into the Lutheran Church on April 3rd, 1977 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, in Marshalltown, Iowa, using the Biblical verses of her confirmation from Matthew 28:20 'Teaching them to observe all this that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.' Amen. Jacque attended B.R. Miller Jr. High School and then Marshalltown High School and was involved and especially loved to play her trombone in pep band and marching band/ She continued on the family tradition and the gift of music and loved sharing it with others. Graduating from MHS in 1981, she moved on to attend Mt. Mercy College and Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where she studied nursing and social work. She also enjoyed playing in the Jazz Band there. She then went to Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa and studied in the college of home economics and social work and graduated in 1987 with her B.S. degree. Later she moved north to the Twin Cities area, in Minnesota where she served over 10 years in a group home serving adults with praderwilli syndrome. She was married to her former husband Stephen Bordeau in 1995 and soon later was blessed with two beautiful children. To Jacque, her children were a precious gift of God and they meant everything to her. The entire Perry and Bordeau family will miss our dear Jacqueline, but we rejoice in faith, even in this grief, that all in Christ will be reunited in heaven together with our Lord and Savior, Jesus for all eternity! She is preceded in death by her father Charles F. Perry, Phoenix, paternal and maternal grandfathers and maternal grandmother. She is survived by her son Lucas; daughter, Ariel; mother, Patricia Perry of Phoenix, AZ; grandmother Perry also of Phoenix, AZ; sister Julia D. Perry-Clark of Phoenix, AZ; brothers Burke Perry of Phoenix, AZ, Brett Perry, of Marshalltown, Iowa; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Our dear mom, daughter and sister Jacque will greatly be missed but will never be forgotten and will remain in our hearts forever until we all, in Christ, are reunited with our Lord at the heavenly banquet which has no end! Memorial contributions may be made to the Crohn's and Colitus Foundation of America, United Cerebral Palsy of MN, Gillette Children's Hospital St. Paul, MN and to a College Trust Fund for her children.
